We adopted the following methodology in designing the programme for our children:
- Montessori Method – Emphasis on independence, freedom within limits, and respect for a child’s natural psychological development. According to Dr. Maria Montessori, the goal of early childhood education should be to cultivate the child’s own natural desire to learn.
- Japanese Shichida Approach – Early intervention and a good environment are two of the most important factors to fully draw out wonderful abilities and hidden potentials of a child. The Shichida method centers around cultivating the children’s hearts and fostering both the right and the left brains in the proper balance.
- Thematic Approach – Organizes subject matter around unifying themes. Each subject area is brought together under the banner of a certain topic. The topic is then studied from the perspectives of reading, writing, math, science and other subject areas.
